Team and Position Summary:
We, the Software Compliance team in RD department, are responsible for identification and mitigation of potential technical risks involved in product creation phase. We develop advanced engineering methods and tools for self-assessment of safety, security and e-drive software.
You will be part of a team that uses advanced analytics and data engineering to help management get key insight of Mercedes Benz product portfolio regarding software conformity. You will have a large amount of RD data at your disposal and a skillful product team on your side who are working on futuristic product compliance problems in automotive domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply data engineering and analytics principles to solve technical compliance problem
  • Participate in internal technical discussion with RD colleagues and gather the key requirements for defined business questions
  • Identify and collect the required data from different data sources in Mercedes tool chain
  • Engage in cross department collaboration to on-board required data source to data pipeline
  • Perform the essential data pre-processing in big data environment
  • Conduct data storytelling to stakeholders through rich visualization and presentation
  • Promote and support company policies and standard of ethics and integrity
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics or related field
  • Good experience in python, pyspark, PowerBI, SQL
  • Strong understanding of big data ecosystem
  • Expert in SQL/Hive and ability to work with spark
  • Able to make good visualization/dashboard in PowerBI
  • Able to perform complex DAX query in PowerBI
  • Understanding of Azure will be the icing on the cake
